It's time for the red carpet! Invite your friends and family for an afternoon and evening at the pictures. General screening will be at the Georgetown Steam Plant, once again. Tickets go on sale August 17th. The event sold out the last two years in a row. We have expanded capacity this year, but highly recommend securing your tickets to this exciting event well in advance.

This year there will be two showtimes.

Times / Description: 

• Matinee starting at 3PM (approx 2hr with 15min intermission): An all ages selection of GS8 films from our 2025 film makers. Doors open at 2pm, show starts at 3pm. FREE to all. Youth Awards will be given. 

• Food/Drinks:

• Matinee: Beer/Wine/NA drinks for sale. Popcorn available free. 

• Break where venue will be closed - right after Youth Awards. 

• Evening starting 7PM (approx 2hr with 15min intermission): This is an "anything goes" selection. Doors open at 6pm, show at 7pm. Awards will be given at the end of screening.
  ***Tickets are $20. Thanks to the generous support of 4Culture, we are also able to offer discounted $10 and tickets free of cost for this year's program.

  • Evening: Bar / NA drinks for sale. Popcorn free. And returning for a second year... the HOT POTATO BAR!
