With this year’s theme, “BREAK THE SYSTEM,” we are challenging our community to reimagine outdated industrial, social, and ecological systems that no longer serve us. This year’s theme is more than a concept—it is a call to action.
To explore this challenge, we’ve brought together leaders on the front lines of change, pioneering creative solutions to replace some of the most destructive systems. Centered in the Ash Room, they will present alternative ways of rethinking everything, from how we produce and consume goods and services, to how we adapt to and mitigate climate change, to how we build stronger, more resilient communities. By uniting these voices, our goal is to inspire our community to reimagine and design new models for a more resilient Duwamish Valley.
