The Georgetown Steam Plant CDA’s mission is to empower Seattle using history, sciences, arts, and culture, as catalysts for equity, preservation, education, and community-centered activation.

Our residency program is grounded in SHTEAM (Science, History, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), provided as a platform for diverse creative voices. Are you a painter, photographer, writer, researcher, historian, technologist, dancer, filmmaker, engineer, mathematician, musician? We want to hear from you.

Our goal is to provide as many opportunities as possible to open up the Steam Plant as a creative space for artistic experiences.
