Thank you for your interest in our Artist-in-Residence program at the Georgetown Steam Plant!
The Georgetown Steam Plant CDA’s mission is to empower Seattle using history, sciences, arts, and culture, as catalysts for equity, preservation, education, and community-centered activation.
Our residency program is grounded in SHTEAM (Science, History, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), provided as a platform for diverse creative voices. Are you a painter, photographer, writer, researcher, historian, technologist, dancer, filmmaker, fabricator, engineer, mathematician, musician, and/or other? We want to hear from you.
Our Artist-in-Residence program offers residencies of up to four weeks and is open to both individual artists and artistic groups to apply. Our goal is to provide as many opportunities as possible to open up the Steam Plant as a creative space for artistic experiences.
