Teen Internship

The historic Georgetown Steam Plant is embarking on an exciting 60-year journey, evolving from a retired industrial powerhouse into a vibrant event space, museum, and SHTEAM learning HUB for future generations to explore and experience. The Georgetown Steam Plant CDA is leading this incredible transition, and we invite motivated high school students (grades 9-12) to earn community service hours by joining our team!

Play a key role in organizing and running events like the Georgetown Steam Plant Science Fair and other exciting community gatherings.

Historic Preservation & Documentation:

Help preserve and catalog artifacts, manage our vintage tool library, and contribute to the revitalization of this industrial icon.
